Buddy`s Bar-b-que in Alabaster

Tiny building, tiny parking lot, tiny eating area, and some of the best barbecue in town. I don't care about the seating area, I can bring it home just fine. Love this place.

Haven't been in a while, but still awesome. The best coleslaw! And the bbq sauce is just right...not spicy hot, great flavor. Rib plate was excellent.

This site is my favorite site. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. everytime I feel like having a proper meal, this place comes instantly to my mind. splendid and varied food and a rich menu.professional team, and great vibes. Also, the bill is modest. I sent my friends to this place with no hesitation.

This place is fantastic! Convenient rates, considerable portions and the staff members are constantly very friendly.

I had some BBQ ribs that were delicious! It's a little pricey, but it was worth it.

The food was great and Stacey who took my order was very nice.

They have no masks very disrespectful and tried there rib sandwich that almost choked me from the bone they put in it.. while I chipped my tooth.. worst barbecue place I ever had!!!!

The pork ribs were the best I've ever had, and the sweet, thick sauce was exquisite! Homemade potato salad, red potatoes with the skin still on them, baked beans with a rich, savory sauce and hunk of meat thrown in for good measure, and the cold sweet tea almost made my meal perfect! Almost because after all that came cherry cake! The two ladies there were so very nice, and there were little odds and ends for sale. I bought a very old teapot, some porcelain dolphins, a little porcelain doll, and a cook book.I highly recommend this little place, but don't blink or you'll miss it!

Overall it lacks any character. The sauce is forgettable and I couldn't name a "style". I guess it neighborhood BBQ at it's most average. The best thing was the burger....at a BBQ place. Nothing special about it just alot if salt and fat, not complaining, just again no soul to it. To top it off my food took about 15 minutes. I'd say you could get equally good bbq buying precooked pulled pork, buns, and sauce from Walmart.

Amazing food! A must try

For the taste, this is my favorite barbecue pork sandwich anywhere. The parking lot is an obstacle course and there is only one picnic table to eat at. Put them in a good store front and I would easily give it 5 stars. *Plus* You have to love a restaurant with a sign with a hog's butt flanked by "delicious (|) between buns"!

Food is great especially onion rings.

$14.72 plus a 99 cent service fee(for paying with a credit card), $15.71 for a pound of bbq to go. You tell me. Is that a good deal?

Small place but always great BBQ!

Very good local BBQ place. Had pork (outside meat) sandwich, onion rings, and slaw. Not much actual outside meat but BBQ had good flavor and the sauce was good (not spicy enough for my taste but good). Order of onion rings will easily feed two. Homemade, crispy, massive fresh cut onions. Best eaten immediately. Turn greasy and lose crunch fast otherwise. Best in the area if eaten immediately! Slaw was very good with the pork. A little too wet but nice crunch and very fresh taste. Will go back!

Great experience buying food here , BBQ is fantastic , the chilli's the best I've ever had , it's definitely worth stopping by . It's great , great I'll be back for more.

Love buddys bbq. This place is so underrated....delicious food everytime. The ladies that work here are great, very sweet and patient. The whole place reminds me of my childhood.

This is alittle hole in the wall place. It had awesome burger and onion rings. There is only one size/price for onion rings. I was surprised they were like 5 bucks. The guy behind counter said he forgot to mention they were pricey over phone. He offered fries in place of them. I took burger and onion rings. I couldn't finish either of them due to size. Both items were amazing, but big.

BBQ was good but could only be considered average on flavor. Quantity of BBQ with a dinner or large sandwich was probably above average. One person ordered the pork salad and was suprised with the quantity of pork with salad. Rating could of been a two star if I would of included the extremely slow service. I would recommend ordering ahead and giving them plenty of time.

Great food and nice people

This first time I ate here I had a pork bbq sandwich. This time I had the four piece chicken finger meal with fries. Warning the portions may be smaller than you are used to. However the food is good. Not only did I have the chicken fingers. I also had dessert. Get the Chocolate Peanut butter Fig cake! The fig icing/jam is soooo good! Also, the chicken sauce is really good! I used every bit of it. It had a Vinaigrette taste to it.Even though I thought the portion was small. It was the perfect amount for me. It filled me up. Someone else it might not be enough for. I can’t wait to go back here. Oh and Buddy is the cutest sweetest thing ever!FYI: There really isn’t any seating. Maybe one table outside. STOPPED IN TUESDAY AFTERNOON TO SEE BUDDY AND GET 2 LARGE BAR- B QUE'S TO GO. OH MY GOSH, CAN'T BELIEVE IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO FIND OUT HOW DELICIOUS HIS FOOD IS. INCREDIBLE BAR-B QUE!!!! I CALL IT GO OLE DOWN HOME SOUTHERN BAR-B QUE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT. JM

Just went to Buddy's for the first time! They let us sit inside and eat at the counter since it was so cold outside! Not only was the food fantastic, we had the burgers and onion rings, but the staff was so friendly and Buddy was a hoot and a half!! Great stories and the chocolate cake was delicious, as was his new fig cake! Great experience!

Great little hole in the wall type place. If more people went to this place then even more people would go. If that makes sense.... Anyway, spread the word.

Very good food...very friendly staff

First time. I bought 2 half a chicken and half slab of ribs. My kids young teeth were able to Chewy their ribs. But we trash the chicken. Now the bbq sauce was pretty good.

BBQ is always wonderful! Much rather eat Buddy's than BBQ from a chain.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I probably should have read the reviews 1st anyways. End up canceling my entire order because whoever answers the phone was having a bad day.

Used to love this place above ALL others, but not so much now... service is kinda shotty & food isn't good enough to cover it.
